wife of Henrich Ruhl, was buried 9 June 1686, aged 49 years and 11 months after she was ill 9 days. Catarina, wife of Best
Ruhl, was buried 18 Feb. 1665, aged 79 years, and called the mother of Henrich Ruhl in her obituary. A note in the Wallau
Churchbook mentions that Valten Lauck with his wife and four children went to Ireland in 1708, because they couldn't go to

Abraham Lauck made his initial appearance
on the Hunter Lists 4 October 1710 with 2 persons over 10 years of age and 1 person under 10 years. The family size increased
to 2 over 10 and 2 under 10 on 31 December 1710. The entry read 4 persons over 10 years on 24 June 1711, 4 over 10 and 1 under
10 on 29 September 1711, 5 over 10 on 24 December 1711, 3 persons over 10 years and 1 under on 25 March 1712, and 4 over 10
and 1 under 10 on 24 June 1712. Abraham Lauck was naturalized 31 January 1715/16 (Albany Naturalizations). Abraham Lauck with
wife and children was at Heessberg about 1716/17 (Simmendinger Register). Abram Luyke was a freeholder of the Northpart Livingston
in 1720 (Albany County Freeholders). Abrah: Luyk was a Palatine Debtor in 1718, 1719, and 1722 (Livingston Debt Lists). Abraham
(1) first came to the Tulpehocken region after 13 May 1723, but prior to 10 January 1725, when the first tax list for the
section was compiled, and about 1732 owned a tract of land about 3 miles north of the old Ried's Lutheran Church (1723 - 1973
Anniversary Magazine of the Tulpehocken, p. 52). Abraham Lauck deeded land to St. Daniel's (Eck) Lutheran Church
congregation 31 May 1751; this was part of a tract of 94 1/4 acres granted to Abraham Luke by deed dated 29 October 1746 by
William Allen and his wife (Letter to Henry Jones from Annette Burgert). Abraham Lauk, son of Valentine Lauck, was born in
1686 in the Electorate of Mayns and buried 10 August 1771, aged 88 years (Tulpehocken Churchbook). The will of Abraham Louck
of Heidelberg Township was dated 28 January 1771 and files 15 August 1722 (Berks County Will Book 2, p. 115).
